1. Scope of Warranty

along provides a manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship (“Warranty”) for along bicycles (“Products”) purchased directly through weridealong.com and used exclusively within countries where along has authorized service coverage. As of the effective date of this policy, United Arab Emirates is the only covered territory.

This Warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required for any claim.

2. Warranty Period

• Frame: 3 years from date of original purchase
• All other parts and components (including batteries and electrical systems): 18 months from date of original purchase
• Battery note: The capacity of the battery will decrease depending on the number of charging cycles and the life of the battery. This reduction in capacity is not covered by the warranty.

No extensions or registrations are required; warranty periods are fixed as stated above.

3. Coverage

• Repair the defective part or component;
• Replace the defective part with an equivalent component; or
• In exceptional cases, replace the entire bicycle if repair is not possible.

4. Making a Claim

The manufacturer's warranty can only be claimed on presentation of the original purchase invoice.

1. Gather your original purchase invoice and bicycle serial number.
2. Take clear photographs and/or videos showing the issue.
3. Contact along via WhatsApp, email hey@weridealong.com, or the website contact form.
4. along’s team will assess the claim and may request additional information.

5. Exclusions and Invalidation Conditions

5A. What is not covered

• Normal wear and tear (tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, paint fading, other consumables).
• Cosmetic imperfections (scratches, minor rust, discoloration) that do not affect structure.
• Accidents, misuse, neglect, overloading, or failure to follow along’s manuals.
• Improper storage (water, sun, corrosive environments).
• Use of non‑along parts, unauthorized modifications, or aftermarket accessories.
• Theft, loss, or incidental damage.
• Commercial or professional use, or use other than for intended residential purposes.

5B. When your warranty becomes invalid

• Modified in construction, including the drive unit or other components to alter performance.
• Inadequate or irregular maintenance.
• Abused or involved in an accident.
• Damaged during transport.
• Attachments or accessories not sold or manufactured by along.
• Used in ways not intended for residential use, including commercial applications.
• Continued use after damage/defects were found, worsening the issue.
• Serviced or repaired by non‑authorized service partners.

6. Remedies & Logistics

• Repair first.
• If repair is not feasible, replace defective parts.
• If neither is practical, replace the entire bicycle.

Transportation and repair costs are covered by along for valid claims within the UAE. Replacements are shipped to the original delivery address using standard methods.

7. Warranty Conditions

• Use the product only for residential transportation purposes.
• Follow along’s maintenance guidelines.
• Complete the initial assembly service and 3‑month tune‑up with along or an authorized partner.
• Service the bicycle at least once every 6 months with an authorized along service partner.

8. Discontinued Products & Refunds

If a model has been discontinued and cannot be repaired or replaced, along may issue a pro‑rated refund based on the original sale price and the Product’s age and condition at the time of the claim.

9. Limitation of Liability

This Warranty is contractual and does not affect statutory rights. along’s liability is limited to the original purchase price. No other warranties or representations are binding on along.

10. Governing Law

This Warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
